As a projector, the Pyle PRJSD188 combines LCD technology with a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600, and is additionally specified with 525 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 800:1. To make performance data comparable based on the lumen specifications, we calculated an approximate ANSI lumen value. A look at the light output reveals: The 525 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 91 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 61 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. The projector was released in 2011 and is officially no longer distributed by Pyle.
