The projector 4K500 by Optoma utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5000:1 at a resolution of 4KESHIFT 2716 x 1528. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector. The achievable distances are shown in the Lens Shift Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 5000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 718 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 479 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2017, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
