Based on LCD technology, the Nec NP P451X projects images in a Standard-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 4500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 4000:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to Nec, the lamp has a durability of 4000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. Precise setup distances can be determined in the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 4500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 584 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 389 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2013 and is no longer part of Nec's current product range.
