As a projector, the Merlin Digital UltraCast Portable Short Throw combines DLP technology with 350 ANSI lumens and a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. The built-in LED technology features a light source lifespan of 30000 hours, which translates to 20.5 years with 4 hours of daily use. Regarding projection size, the value of 350 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 190 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 127 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Thanks to support for optional Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen.
