The short-throw MP-AX3001 3D laser LCD projector from Maxell has 3500 Ansi lumens, a contrast of 500000:1 and an XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer Maxell specifies a service life of 20000 hours, which is over 13.7 years with a daily viewing time of 4 hours. The horizontal and vertical keystone correction provides leeway when setting up. With a projection ratio of just 0.3:1, this projector never gets in the way. For a 2m wide image, the projector only needs to be 60 cm away from the screen. A smartphone with MHL connection can be connected directly to the MHL/HDMI port and transmit a 1080p / 60 Hz image mirroring (screen mirroring) while the smartphone is being charged at the same time. Even 1080P video signals and 3D are no problem for the projector. The model built in 2018 is no longer offered by Maxell.
