Based on LCD technology, the Lightware Legend LS-8 projects images in a Standard-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 696 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 150:1 and a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. According to Lightware, the included lamp lasts up to 1000 hours. To ensure objective comparability, an approximate ANSI lumen value was calculated based on the lumen specifications. Looking at practical performance, up to 230 cm can be illuminated with 696 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 153 cm. This device is no longer manufactured and has been removed from Lightware's current lineup.
