The dv 500 model is a LCD projector from Liesegang, intended for Standard-Portabel applications, offering 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 800:1 at XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 318 cm. This is a discontinued model that is no longer officially distributed by Liesegang.
