The LG PF50KS is a DLP projector that brings 600 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution alongside a contrast of 100000:1. As an LED projector, the spec sheet indicates a lifespan of 30000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. For mobile use, grid-independent operation is possible for a maximum period of 5 hours thanks to the built-in battery. Regarding projection size, the value of 600 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 249 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 166 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since the projector supports DLNA screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels. Since entering the market in 2018, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
