Behind the name Cinebeam HU80KA is a 3D-LED-DLP projector by LG, whose main features include 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 150000:1 and a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. A look at the light output reveals: The 2500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 508 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 339 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since the projector supports Miracast and DLNA screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 30 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. This model dates back to 2020 and is no longer part of LG's current product range.
