The InFocus Genesis IN114BBST is a 3D-BrilliantColor-DLP projector that brings 3500 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution alongside a contrast of 30000:1. According to InFocus, the lamp has a durability of 8000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 11 years based on two hours of use per day. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 124 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Regarding projection size, the value of 3500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 515 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 343 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 30 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. This model dates back to 2020 and is no longer part of InFocus's current product range.
