Designed for the Stationary sector, the PowerLite 8200i model from Epson USA features 3500 ANSI lumens, a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast ratio of 600:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction, granting significant leeway during mounting. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 3500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 515 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 343 cm. Since entering the market in 2002, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
