This projector from Epson USA utilizes 3D-LED-LCD technology, achieving 4600 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 100000:1 at a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Looking at practical performance, up to 689 cm can be illuminated with 4600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 459 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since the projector supports optional Miracast screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device.
