The EB-X500 model is a Laser-LCD projector from Epson, intended for Standard-Portabel applications, offering 3600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 16000:1 at XGA 1024 x 768. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 6600 hours – mathematically sufficient for 9 years based on two hours of use per day. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Looking at practical performance, up to 523 cm can be illuminated with 3600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 349 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Since entering the market in 2019, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
