The Epson EB-875E is a LCD projector that brings 5000 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution alongside a contrast of 5000000:1. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 50 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. Regarding projection size, the value of 5000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 564 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 376 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since the projector supports Miracast and Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system.
