With the EB 4550, Epson offers a LCD projector that features 4500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5000:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 4000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 5.5 years. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Lens Shift Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 4500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 584 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 389 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson.
