I really hope you can help me, as I‘ve almost lost my way in the wide web.
I have a Redstar DVD player (HomeCinema Redstar System 3000) with VGA out and YUV out.

In addition a Compaq MD1600 (http://www.projektoren-datenbank.com/pro/ans.php?id=622 ) with a VGA connection according to the description 15-pin D-Type Connector. Horizontal frequency 15-69Hz, vertical frequency 48-85Hz.
Native resolution 1024x768
I have the option of selecting different output variants in the DVD player menu
- PC-VGA
- YUV interlanced
- TV-RGB
You can switch between PAL, PAL 60, NTSC and AUTO
I have tried it with a VGA monitor cable with all the variations in the menu settings
My last attempt was a HAMA cable YUV to VGA, also without success
With a laptop it works perfectly. But not with the DVD player.
Does anyone have any ideas as to why this might be the case / what I can do to make it work

Zoom function
I have a fixed distance between the projector and the screen. This makes the image too large. Is there any way to adjust the image size?
