The hardware properties of the XJ S31 manufactured by Casio include 2000 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast value of 1800:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 2000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 389 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 259 cm. The projector was released in 2007 and is officially no longer distributed by Casio. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
