The projector P2B by Asus utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 350 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3500:1 at a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800. As an LED projector, the spec sheet indicates a lifespan of 30000 hours – calculating to 20.5 years at four hours of use per day. Looking at practical performance, up to 190 cm can be illuminated with 350 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 127 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. Since entering the market in 2013, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
