Designed for the Stationary sector, the E1550W model from ASK Proxima features 5500 ANSI lumens, a native WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and a contrast ratio of 1500:1. According to ASK Proxima, the included lamp lasts up to 4000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 5.5 years possible. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 753 cm can be illuminated with 5500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 502 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2011 and is officially no longer distributed by ASK Proxima.
