The technical data of the Promethean UST P1 includes 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 as well as a WXGA 1280 x 800 display. According to Promethean, the included lamp lasts up to 5000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 6.8 years based on two hours of use per day. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 70 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 556 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 371 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2013, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.
