As a projector, the Homoyoyo HMF42 combines LCD technology with a resolution of WVGA 800 x 480, and is additionally specified with 120 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 1000:1. Because the manufacturer specifies brightness in lumen specifications, we have determined an ANSI lumen value for better comparability. Looking at practical performance, up to 111 cm can be illuminated with 120 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 74 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Since the projector supports optional Miracast and Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device.
