Based on LCD technology, the ClokoWe M8 projects images in a Game-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 360 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 11000:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a durability of 80000 hours for the LED light source – calculating to 54.8 years at four hours of use per day. Looking at practical performance, up to 193 cm can be illuminated with 360 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 129 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Thanks to support for optional Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 29 decibels.
